How One Cancer Center Improved Survival Rates While Managing Costs
Across the country, hospitals implement a variety of information technology solutions with the hope of improving patient outcomes while managing skyrocketing healthcare costs. Far too often, it is not clear what benefits, if any, those solutions bring.
To measure whether pathways could help improve care and costs, Cone Health Cancer Center implemented ClinicalPath, Elsevier's leading evidence-based oncology pathway solution. Their analysis, presented during the June 2023 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual conference, showed improvement in both areas.
