
Intermountain Health names leader of Nevada children’s hospital | MED MOVES
New York City's health system announces new leaders, and others take new posts.

The new hospital will be built at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Harry Reid Research and Technology Park, in Las Vegas. This project is estimated to cost over $1 billion. Intermountain Health has committed to financing two-thirds of the total cost, and it is raising money to cover the rest.
In a
Williams most recently held senior leadership roles at Texas Children’s Hospital in Austin. He has also held leadership positions at Seattle Children’s, Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health, and the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
Mitch Cloward, Intermountain’s region president, said Williams is the ideal choice to lead the hospital.
“His deep experience in pediatric healthcare and his commitment to community partnership make him the right leader at the right moment. We are proud to welcome Russ, and we look forward to building a stronger, healthier future for Nevada’s children together," Cloward said in a statement. “His experience and steady leadership will play a key role as we build and prepare to open Nevada Children’s Hospital.”
NYC Health + Hospitals names two key leaders
New York City’s healthcare system, NYC Health + Hospitals, has moved two leaders into new positions.
Svetlana Lipyanskaya will be appointed as CEO of Maimonides Health upon the completion of its merger with NYC Health + Hospitals.
Lipyanskaya has been a key player in the merger of the two systems. She is the CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, and she has held that post since 2020.
Maimonides operates three hospitals and dozens of other healthcare locations in Brooklyn.
“Maimonides is an integral part of Brooklyn’s healthcare landscape,” Lipyanskaya said in a statement. “It delivers exceptional quality care, including state-of-the art specialty services, to New Yorkers every day. I look forward to the opportunity to lead Maimonides as its joins NYC Health + Hospitals and together build on the great work they already do today.”
With Lipyanskaya moving into her new role at Maimonides, NYC Health also announced that Manjinder Kaur would become CEO at South Brooklyn Health. Kaur serves as the hospital’s chief operating officer and was previously the chief nursing officer.
“This hospital has always been more than a workplace for me – it is a vital part of our community’s health and wellbeing,” Kaur said in a statement. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation and continuing to advance exceptional care for our community.”
Main Line Health announces hospital president
Anna Michelle Brandt has been named the new president of Lankenau Medical Center.
The hospital, part of Main Line Health, is in the Philadelphia suburbs. Brandt began her new role March 1.
“It is an honor to join Main Line Health and to serve as President of Lankenau Medical Center,” Brandt said in a statement. “Lankenau has a long-standing reputation for clinical excellence, education and research, and I look forward to working alongside physicians, clinicians and colleagues to advance high-quality care and strengthen our impact for the communities we serve.”
Brandt previously served as chief operating officer of University Hospital, a 519-bed academic medical center in Newark, New Jersey. She also spent nearly two decades at UF Health Shands Hospital.
“Her commitment to quality, strong physician partnership and operational excellence make her the right leader to build on Lankenau Medical Center’s legacy while positioning the hospital for continued success in the years ahead,” he said in a statement.
HCA Midwest hospital names two leaders
Centerpoint Medical Center has appointed two leaders to new roles.
The 285-bed hospital, part of HCA Midwest Health, recently named Justin Inglett as its chief financial officer. Inglett came to the medical center after serving as CFO of Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia, part of HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division.
“I’m honored to join Centerpoint Medical Center and to support the exceptional teams who care for this community every day,” Inglett said. “HCA Midwest Health has a long-standing reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centered care.”
In addition, Robyn Miller has been named Centerpoint’s chief nursing officer. She has more than 20 years of experience and most recently served as chief nursing officer at Belton Regional Medical Center, which is also part of HCA Midwest Health.
Miller said she’s excited to work with “the dedicated nurses and care teams who serve our patients every day.”
