On this episode of Healthy Bottom Line, we spoke with Joe Nicholson, DO, chief medical officer at CareAllies, a provider services company that works closely with physician entities and payers to accelerate the transition to value-based care models and help providers to manage the long-term health of their patients across multiple payers. We discussed why instilling a good payer/provider relationship is important for both patients and practices and what can be done to ensure that relationship is well maintained. We also talked about Dr Nicholson’s personal experience with developing a functional payer/provider relationship and advice he has for other practices.
